Transitional Planning

"Our specialization in Transitional Planning Services gives our professionals the ability to help clients navigate through all of life's challenges."  -Beth F. Cutler, Senior Vice President Investments

Retirement

Many individuals have worked hard and done an excellent job saving money in their 401ks, pensions, and IRAs. Often, when they see that retirement is around the corner, there is a strong desire to seek a financial firm to develop and implement a plan that will provide them with income, capital preservation and wealth for future generations. Our team brings a disciplined approach to investing and portfolio management to help our clients achieve their retirement goals.

Buying or Selling Real Estate

Clients look to our team for financial guidance as they make changes to their real estate holdings. For many clients, their primary residence is one of their largest financial assets. In addition to the primary residence, individuals often own second and third homes, and investment or income properties. At Cutler and Andrews Financial Group, we analyze transactions and advise our clients on the financial benefits of buying or selling properties, downsizing or right-sizing, and can provide access to lending services through Wells Fargo affiliates.

Long-Term Care and Insurance Planning

Insurance can serve as a great tool to protect the financial interests of loved ones, provide funding of longer-term healthcare costs (long-term care insurance), and reduce estate tax liabilities. As part of our review process our team does an in-depth analysis of our clients' exposure to financial risks and advises on how to protect themselves, their families and their estates from avoidable financial burdens. Insurance products are offered through nonbank insurance agency affiliates of Wells Fargo & Company and are underwritten by unaffiliated insurance companies.

Selling a Business

A major liquidity event, such as selling a business can trigger new financial needs for an individual or family. We will often work with a client's tax advisors and attorneys to create a long-term investment plan. By creating a customized investment strategy, we are able to transition client's wealth from the sale of their business to an income stream that will provide cash flow for life.

Career Change

During a career transition an individual may have questions about their current and future retirement plan options. Our team reviews new employee insurance benefits, 401k and retirement plans, and healthcare coverage options. Clients also seek our advice regarding the different investment options and types of accounts available for the assets in their prior retirement plan at the previous employer which they have left. Clients may have additional questions about their executive compensation, employee stock or stock options, deferred compensation and defined benefit or pension plans.

Separation and Divorce

One of the most challenging transitions can be Separation or Divorce. Our team works very closely with clients as they sort through the many financial issues associated with separating assets or getting divorced including separation of assets, QDRO agreements and spousal asset claiming. Divorce can mean a fresh start, personally and financially. At Cutler and Andrews financial group we work with newly divorced clients and their estate attorneys to develop wealth transfer strategies and insurance plans that help prepare clients for the next chapter in their financial lives.

Death in the Family

The passing of a loved one can be one of the most difficult times for a family. It is during this time that through ongoing communication and regular meetings, we hold the hands of our clients through all of the financial decisions that need to be made. We help clients make investment planning decisions throughout the estate settlement process, and afterwards once the estate has been closed.
